The Union of Municipalities Al-Fayhaa hands over a sorting point to the ULTRAS Club in Tripoli.

Despite various circumstances and challenges, the Union of Municipalities Al-Fayhaa continues its efforts to promote environmental work in Tripoli. It participated in the handover of the fourth sorting point to the ULTRAS Club in the sorting and collection area, specifically on Ashir Al-Daya Street behind the club’s building.

The handover took place in the presence of the Head of the Union of Municipalities Al-Fayhaa, Engineer Wael Zmerli; the Al-Fayhaa Sorts Project Coordinator, Engineer Tariq Samarji; Tripoli Municipal Council members, Engineer Taha Mikati and Engineer Bilal Hussein; member of the Environment Committee and the Al-Fayhaa Sorts Project, Ms. Rania Al-Jamal; and the Head of the Cleaning and Pest Control Department at Tripoli Municipality, Engineer Mazen Bazrbashi.

This project is part of the ongoing efforts of the Union of Municipalities Al-Fayhaa to establish a culture of waste sorting at the source and to promote environmental initiatives in partnership with the local community and city institutions, contributing to environmental protection and improving the environmental situation in Tripoli.

At the end of the meeting, the Union’s president, Engineer Wael Zmerli, presented Engineer Bilal Hussein with the Union’s pin as a token of appreciation and cooperation in supporting environmental initiatives and serving the city.
