In a humanitarian gesture reflecting the spirit of solidarity and social cohesion, the Al-Irshad Charitable Association has provided a building in the Al-Mina area of Tripoli, designated to house families displaced by dilapidated buildings. This initiative responds to the urgent need for decent housing that preserves the dignity of those affected and provides them with temporary stability.
The building will be placed at the disposal of the North Governorate, represented by Governor Iman Al-Rafi’i, to ensure its proper management and use in serving the beneficiary families.
Engineer Bilal Al-Wali undertook the restoration and renovation work at his own expense, a commendable initiative that demonstrates a high sense of social responsibility.
The Nusaned Association has also expressed its readiness to provide the necessary support to ensure the building’s readiness and fulfill the housing requirements. The project is being implemented under the coordination and supervision of the head of the Al-Fayhaa Municipalities Union, Engineer Wael Zmerli, and with the follow-up of the director of the Guidance Association, Mr. Raif Sourani. Upon completion of the restoration and rehabilitation work, the building will be made habitable and placed under the management of the Governor of North Lebanon, in accordance with established procedures.
This initiative underscores the importance of integration between official bodies and civil society in addressing crises, and reinforces the values of cooperation and solidarity in serving humanity and preserving its dignity.
