A campaign to regulate slaughtering during the Eid al-Adha holiday was launched at the headquarters of the Federation of Municipalities of the North, in the presence of the Union’s President, Engineer Wael Zmrli, the Federation’s Director, Engineer Dima Hamssi, the Commander of the Tripoli Municipal Police, Captain Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi, the Commander of the Mina Municipal Police, First Sergeant Hassan Darwish, and representatives from the Tripoli Municipality, Mina Municipality, Beddawi Municipality, the Engineers Syndicate, and the Doctors Syndicate, as part of joint efforts aimed at maintaining public safety and environmental health.
It was emphasised the importance of adhering to the approved health and engineering standards, organising slaughter operations in designated places and under the supervision of the relevant authorities, which reduces environmental risks and ensures the safety of citizens.
This campaign is part of a coordinated plan between municipalities and relevant unions to raise awareness among citizens and organise procedures during the holiday period, reflecting the concerned authorities’ commitment to public health and public order in the city of Tripoli and its surroundings.
