Tripoli Chamber of Commerce hosts the signing of the book “The Art of Port Management”

Under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Tripoli and Northern Lebanon, the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce hosted a distinguished cultural event featuring the signing of the book “The Art of Port Management” by Dr. Ahmad Tamer, Director of the Port of Tripoli, in the presence of economic, administrative, and union figures.

The event was attended by the President of the Federation of Municipalities of al fayhaa, Engineer Wael Zmerli, and the Director of the Federation, Engineer Dima Hamssi. Zmerli spoke to the media on the sidelines of the meeting about the importance of developing modern port management, given its pivotal role in stimulating the national economy and enhancing Tripoli’s position as a logistical and commercial hub in Lebanon and the region. Zmerli also praised Dr. Tamer’s efforts in managing the Port of Tripoli, as well as the scientific and practical value contained in the book.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Tamer presented the main themes of his book, which addresses the foundations of effective port management, operational and economic challenges, as well as future visions for developing this vital sector, drawing on his academic and field experience.

This activity comes within the framework of the role played by the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce in supporting intellectual and economic initiatives, and enhancing the partnership between the public administration and the municipal and private sectors, in a way that serves the path of sustainable development in Tripoli and the North.
