A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Regional Center for Training and Technology Transfer for the Arab States, represented by His Excellency Dr. Mostafa Hussein Kamel, former Egyptian Minister of Environment, and the President of the Union of Municipalities of Al-Fayhaa, Engineer Wael Zmerli.

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of sustainable environmental management, training, and the exchange of technical expertise.

And to develop local capacities in waste management and safe disposal, and to promote sustainable environmental solutions, alongside organising training programs and joint workshops in areas related to the environment and local development.

The signing took place within the framework of expanding partnerships with Lebanese municipalities, contributing to enhancing environmental work efficiency and improving public services.
